Job summary

Karman is seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive cross-functional delivery of complex software-hardware initiatives from a remote U.S. base. You will manage sprints, CI/CD, and ensure alignment between engineering, product, and operations while coordinating with partners and internal teams.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and the ability to influence without authority. Travel up to 10% is expected; compensation ranges with experience and level.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program management or related roles in a technical environment.
• Technical background or hands-on software/engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
• Coordinate internal technical work for co-development and partner engagements.
• Support external partner interface alongside CPM coverage while coordinating technical tradeoffs.
• Experience driving compliance initiatives and security certifications (IEC 62443).
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with global hardware/software deployments and CI/CD tooling.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Define, implement, and optimize program management processes for cross-functional delivery.
• Develop and monitor project plans, timelines, and performance metrics.
• Develop and drive adoption of agile best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and operations to define requirements and priorities.
• Manage risks related to code stability, feature creep, and version control.
• Drive adoption of tools/frameworks to improve tracking and communication.
• Coordinate complex cross-functional programs from initiation to completion.
• Track and report on delivery timelines, resource use, and risk mitigation.
• Facilitate alignment to resolve bottlenecks and dependencies.
