Job summary

Optum is seeking a Technical Product Manager to guide team-level execution, backlogs, sprint delivery, and budgeting in a dynamic engineering environment.

You will lead intake discussions, refine requirements with stakeholders, manage budgets and timelines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable features that meet business and technical needs. AI tools will be used to improve workflows and backlog delivery.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management or technical product management.
• 1+ years leading a scrum team as PM.
• 1+ years leading multiple agile scrum teams in a cross-functional enterprise.
• 1+ years using product/delivery tools such as Aha! or Rally for roadmap planning and backlog management.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools to accelerate product delivery.
• Strong understanding of APIs and modern application architecture.

Responsibilities

• Manage team-level execution, backlogs, sprint delivery, forecasting and budgets.
• Lead intake discussions and guide requirements definitions with stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and delivery timelines aligned to business priorities.
• Partner with engineering and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable product features.
• Maintain planning and delivery dashboards (Aha/Rally), ensuring data quality and timelines.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and speed backlog delivery.
