Job summary

Deck Builder Marketers is seeking a Technical SEO Specialist who can identify, diagnose, and fix the technical issues that affect organic growth. You’ll improve website health, fix indexing and crawl issues, and strengthen local search visibility for deck builders across North America.

You’ll work with strategists, account managers, and developers to convert SEO recommendations into measurable results, manage SEO across multiple sites and markets, and own the strategy and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SEO experience in an agency or similar environment.
• Experience managing SEO across multiple websites simultaneously.
• Ability to explain technical SEO concepts to non-technical clients.
• Direct collaboration with developers to implement fixes.
• Proficiency with Google Search Console as a diagnostic tool.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits and identify performance issues.
• Address indexing, crawlability, and site structure problems.
• Improve Core Web Vitals and site performance.
• Identify and recommend schema markup opportunities.
• Work with developers to implement fixes.
• Develop and implement SEO strategies to increase rankings and leads.
• Perform keyword research and align content with intent.
• Optimize on-page SEO and manage local SEO performance.
• Track SEO performance using analytics tools and report progress.
