Job summary

Monks seeks a Technical Lead (hands on) to guide product strategy and Roadmapping while leading cross-functional teams across engineering, design, and delivery. You will shape the product vision, drive initiatives from discovery to launch, and mentor associate PMs to foster growth.

The role is fully remote, with occasional travel, emphasizing customer-centricity, experimentation, and agile delivery across distributed teams. You will partner with stakeholders to align vision and outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in digital products, software design, and/or development.
• Experience end-to-end software product lifecycle (building and shipping) and multi-feature products.
• Experience taking a product from concept through training/release and post-release adoption/monitoring.
• Experience leading discovery sessions with prioritization and requirements elicitation workshops.
• Strong stakeholder facilitation, negotiation skills, and ability to translate needs into scalable requirements.
• Understanding of web technologies, APIs, and software development.
• Ability to ramp up quickly on a new business domain.
• Goal-oriented, autonomous, and organized; capable of working independently and with teams.
• Strong consulting and communication skills with credibility across partners.
• Experience using agile methodologies with globally distributed teams.
• Experience using Sketch, Miro, or other modern design tools and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Consulting & Trusted Advising: Build client relationships and translate research into actionable strategies.
• Stakeholder Management: Align priorities, surface trade-offs, and drive decision-ready updates.
• Product Delivery: Define long-term vision, drive roadmap, collaborate with Engineering, Design and Delivery teams, manage budget and milestones.
• Innovation & Improvement: Mentor PMs, improve processes, promote knowledge sharing and agile practices.
