Job summary

EQT Corporation in the United States is seeking a Technical Business Specialist/Senior to advance Operational Excellence and Technology initiatives across Midstream Operations & Engineering and Insight to Action. You will bridge business operations, field execution, data and technology to translate needs into scalable solutions.

Working with field personnel and subject matter experts, you'll map As-Is/To-Be processes, prioritize opportunities, and support design, implementation, and measurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, accounting, business, engineering, or a closely related field required.
• 3-5+ years of Midstream, pipeline, or upstream oil & gas operations experience.
• Ability to translate operational needs into formal requirements and actionable plans.
• Experience mapping current-state and future-state business processes.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and prioritize Operational Excellence and Technology opportunities across Midstream.
• Map and evaluate As-Is and To-Be processes for standardization and automation.
• Translate operational needs into clear business requirements and use cases.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Support SCADA, EAM/Maximo, analytics, workflow solutions, and system integrations.
• Develop KPIs, dashboards, and reporting linking technology to measurable outcomes.
• Collaborate with field crews, engineers, and IT to ensure solutions meet real needs.
• Lead or facilitate cross-functional sessions to gather requirements and drive adoption.
• Assist with data governance, quality initiatives, and standardized practices across Midstream systems.
