Job summary

Payward, Inc., dba Kraken is seeking a Senior Technology Auditor to execute technology audits across a broad IT environment, with emphasis on cybersecurity, identity management, and operational resilience, while working remotely.

The role partners with Internal Audit leadership, planning and executing audits, documenting findings, and communicating actionable results to engineers and senior leaders in a fintech context.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of IT audit, information security, or related technology risk experience.
• Fintech/financial services experience preferred.
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, or SOC 2.
• Knowledge of GDPR and data privacy regulations.
• Ability to communicate findings to engineers and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute technology audits, assessing controls in cybersecurity and data governance.
• Lead multiple audit engagements, managing planning, fieldwork and reporting, and tracking remediation.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for stakeholders and translate technical findings for non-technical audiences.
