Varsity Tutors is seeking Texas-certified teachers to join its Live Learning Platform as remote, 1-on-1 tutors. You’ll bring classroom expertise to a flexible online environment, set your own schedule, and earn competitive rates from home.

Earn up to $40/hour with payments issued twice weekly. Must hold an active TEA certificate and be capable of diagnosing gaps, adapting instruction, and connecting K-12 content to TEKS standards in a virtual setting.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Teaching Certificate issued by TEA.
• Deep knowledge in your certified subject area(s) with K-12 alignment.
• Experience teaching in a Texas classroom and understanding TEKS standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to students.
• Adjust pacing and explain concepts using multiple methods to fit student needs.
