Job Details

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a similar field required
• CPA license or Enrolled Agent certification preferred not required
• At least five years of related experience (individual, corporate and partnership tax)
• Ag experience a plus
• Desire to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills, displaying the ability to connect & build relationships with clients, firm leadership and peers
• Confidence in professional aptitude & the ability to effectively convey skills, knowledge and qualifications to clients
• Experience with Lacerte, QuickBooks & Microsoft Office a plus
  
  

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for individuals, non-profits and businesses
• Create and discuss tax planning scenarios with clients
• Make final adjusting entries for business clients prior to preparing tax returns
• Review the work of less experienced staff
