Job summary

Aiwyn is seeking a Tax Analyst for remote work to support development of AI-driven tax software. You will help ensure accuracy of federal and state returns and collaborate with engineers and product teams to design robust test scenarios.

Ideal candidate has experience with multiple tax forms and tax software packages, and comfortable working in a fast-growing SaaS startup environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with federal and state tax returns (business returns preferred).
• Familiarity with major tax software packages used in tax preparation and QA.
• Experience in tax software industry, return development, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Create and review test returns for complex federal or state filings to ensure IRS compliance.
• Design, document, and execute test scenarios reflecting real-world tax calculations.
• Validate software outputs against manual calculations and resolve discrepancies with developers.
• Document test cases and calculation logic to support QA processes.
