You will review returns for individuals and closely-held businesses, collaborate with financial advisors, and identify strategies that optimize tax outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of accounting & tax experience in public accounting or wealth management.
• Experience reviewing individual and business returns (1120s, 1065, 1120).
• Experience with S-corps, partnerships, and C-corps.
• Active CPA or EA license.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead tax advisor for a portfolio of high-net-worth clients guiding tax planning, projections, and returns.
• Review individual and business returns including S-corps, partnerships, and C-corps.
• Meet clients and advisors year-round to map proactive tax strategies.
• Advise owners on structuring and running entities tax-efficiently.
• Handle federal/state agency notices and correspondence.
• Collaborate with financial advisors on planning conversations like retirement and equity compensation.
