Leoforce is seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to lead federal and state tax planning and compliance for individuals and corporations. This permanent remote role focuses on optimizing tax obligations, handling 1120S/S corp matters, and guiding junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA a plus.
• 5+ years in tax prep/planning with 1120S/S corp focus.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state tax laws and return prep.
• Proven experience in tax planning and strategy development.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with tax concepts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review federal/state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and S corp.
• Lead tax planning to optimize obligations and ensure compliance.
• Conduct tax research and provide planning advice to high-net-worth clients.
• Assist in managing the company’s tax structure.
• Prepare/review 1120S returns and advise on implications.
