Amarina Search Partners is partnering with a well-established public accounting firm to recruit a Tax Manager. This role leads client tax engagements, advising business entities and owners on planning opportunities while overseeing compliance and deadlines.

Ideal candidates have CPA certification and 6–15 years of public accounting tax experience, with strong research, communication, and mentoring abilities. Remote work options are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• CPA certification required.
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience serving business entities and owners; 6–15 years ideal.
• Strong research, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with multi-office firms and experience with multistate taxation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead client tax engagements from planning through completion, overseeing compliance and tax planning.
• Advise business entities and owners on tax requirements and planning opportunities.
• Manage engagement deadlines, filing requirements, and project priorities.
• Analyze engagement billing and collections.
• Research complex tax matters and communicate findings clearly.
• Coach and mentor junior associates on technical and professional development.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service.
