System Six in the United States is seeking a Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance, planning, and review for a client portfolio while mentoring staff. This is a fully remote, full-time role reporting to the Head of Tax, focused on delivering high-quality service and timely results.

You will work with a team of eight and about 150 clients across 300 returns, stay current with tax laws, mentor others, and help grow the tax department within a balanced, flexible culture.

Formación

• 5+ years of public accounting experience with expertise in tax compliance for individuals, S-Corps, C-Corps, and Partnerships/LLCs.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee tax compliance and review for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Serve as the primary client contact, addressing inquiries and delivering high-quality solutions.
• Conduct first reviews of tax work and provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Recommend tax strategies aligned with client goals and explain outcomes clearly.
• Mentor and train team members to foster a collaborative environment.
• Stay current with tax laws and regulations and identify proactive planning opportunities.
• Assist in process improvements to enhance internal workflows and client service.
