Position Summary:

TheSenior Tax Manageris responsible for managing all aspects of tax compliance, planning, and reporting. This role will oversee tax strategy, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and support business initiatives with accurate and timely tax advice. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax returns, including corporate, partnership, and individual filings as applicable
• Develop and implement tax strategies aligned with business objectives and changes in tax law
• Manage tax provision calculations and reporting under ASC 740
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all required tax documents
• Monitor and mitigate tax risks through proactive planning and audit defense
• Stay current with tax law changes and communicate potential impacts to leadership
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior tax staff and support their professional development
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and business teams to support transactions, audits, and planning

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA required, MST preferred
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role
• Strong knowledge of federal and state corporate income taxes and tax accounting principles (ASC 740)
• Experience with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, Oracle, SAP)
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
