We are a TOP regional public accounting firm with a strong, REMOTE nationwide presence! The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in public accounting, 2 years of supervisory experience, and be a CPA. This role is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to use their tax expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and strategy for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Provide expert tax advice to clients and develop tax saving strategies that align with client business objectives.
  • Review and prepare federal and state income tax returns for individuals, privately held companies, non profit organizations, and others.
  • Conduct thorough tax research and prepare memorandums on complex tax issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax practices and changes in tax law.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders to improve processes and procedures.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to junior staff members.

Job Details

To be considered for the role of Tax Manager, you must possess the following qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is required.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a public accounting firm, past 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proficient in Preparation and Review of S/C Corps, Partnerships, nonprofit, or trusts and estates returns.
  • Experience with CCH Access preferred.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
