Job summary

Jobot is seeking an HNWI Client Advisor to lead proactive tax planning and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and businesses. You will review complex returns and provide strategic guidance on federal and multistate filings, with direct leadership responsibilities over associates and managers.

The role is fully remote, includes equity plans, unlimited PTO, and 100% employer-paid healthcare coverage for employees.

Qualifications

CPA license or JD required
8+ years of tax experience
4+ years in a supervisory/leadership role

Responsibilities

Lead proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance engagements for high-net-worth individuals and business owners.
Review and sign complex federal and multistate returns (1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S).
Provide technical guidance on filings, estimates, extensions, audits, and multistate filings.
Serve clients with holdings across closely held businesses, real estate, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and family offices.
Establish engagement objectives, scope, staffing, budgets, and timelines while ensuring quality and delivery.
Maintain proactive year-round client communication and identify additional advisory opportunities.
Generate new high-net-worth and business clients through relationships and outreach.
Recruit, mentor, train, and evaluate Associates and Managers to strengthen capabilities.
Leverage modern tax technology to improve efficiency and client experience.
