Earned is a doctor-focused financial services firm seeking a Client Manager to manage relationships with personal income tax clients, focusing on tax planning and tax prep for healthcare professionals. The role involves one-on-one meetings, developing long-term client relationships, and delivering high-level tax services.

The ideal candidate has a strong personal tax background, is organized, and can work independently while managing their own portfolio of clients.

Qualifications

• CPA or IRS Enrolled Agent designation.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, taxation, or finance.
• 5-7 years of personal income tax experience with HNW clients.
• Strong background in preparing individual tax returns.
• Proficient with tax software. Prior experience with UltraTax and SurePrep would be helpful.
• Demonstrated ability to manage your portfolio of tax clients.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct client meetings to organize and review tax documents and provide tax planning guidance.
• Review and finalize 1040 tax returns.
• Collaborate with team and support other tax preparers in the group.
• Assist with marketing and promotional efforts; represent Earned at events as needed.
• Maintain and develop ongoing relationships with personal tax clients.
• Respond to client inquiries promptly according to firm policies.
• Review, respond to, and resolve IRS and state tax notices.
