Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Tax and CAS Accountant for our public accounting practice in the Newtown Square area. This 100% remote role (occasional PA office visits) focuses on preparing federal and state returns for individuals, corporations, and S corporations, plus tax planning for clients including high net worth individuals.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting or related field, 5+ years in tax, familiarity with 1120S, and CPA or tax designation a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting or related field required; CPA/Taxation degree a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in tax prep and planning with 1120S/S corp focus.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state tax laws and tax software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee federal and state income tax returns for individuals, corporations, and S corporations.
• Lead tax planning and strategy development to optimize obligations.
• Perform tax research, advise on implications for high net worth clients.
• Prepare and review 1120S returns and collaborate across departments.
• Manage audits and stay updated on tax regulations.
