Zusammenfassung

Auberge Collection is seeking a Task Force Director of Finance to provide hands-on financial leadership across properties during leadership transitions, openings, and special assignments. Working remotely between assignments, with travel to properties as needed, you will assess each operation, strengthen processes, and deliver accurate reporting.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or equivalent relevance.
• Five or more years of progressive hotel or hospitality finance experience with leadership responsibility.
• Strong command of accounting fundamentals, USALI 12th Edition, financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and internal controls.
• Prior experience as a Director of Finance or equivalent senior hotel finance leader is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assess unfamiliar operations quickly, set priorities, and deliver accurate work in fast-moving environments.
• Experience leading property Finance teams and partnering with General Managers, owners, auditors, and corporate stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of hotel financial systems, including GL, reporting, PMS, POS, purchasing, payroll, and AP.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the senior property finance leader during task force assignments, establishing priorities and maintaining continuity across accounting and finance.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial statements with reconciliations.
• Review balance-sheet accounts, identify aging items, and coordinate remediation with property and corporate teams.
• Oversee core hotel accounting activities: general ledger, AP, AR, income audit, payroll coordination, purchasing, cash management, and controls.
• Evaluate control environment and processes; implement improvements aligned with policies and standards.
• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and variance analyses.
• Analyze results with General Manager and corporate Finance to improve profitability and cash flow.
• Support owner reporting, audits, tax, and capital planning.
• Build repeatable processes and documentation; identify risk mitigation opportunities.
• Lead, coach, and develop property Finance teams and train staff.
