Job summary

Katz, Sapper & Miller (KSM) is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Associate to join the TAS team. This role offers exposure to private equity and corporate clients on buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, with a dynamic, flexible environment.

As an Associate, you will help assess earnings quality, cash flows, working capital and key drivers, support deal reports and presentations, and collaborate with management and advisors across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0–2 years' experience in audit, TAS, or finance.
• CPA or CFA certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Familiarity with the M&A process.
• Ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in financial due diligence for buy-side and sell-side engagements.
• Analyze target companies for earnings quality, cash flows, and working capital.
• Prepare deal reports and client presentations.
• Support multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities.
• Interact with management and advisers during meetings and site visits.
