Job summary

Pursuit Aerospace is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage enterprise IT across servers, endpoints, identity, and network/security platforms. The role focuses on building, patching, hardening, and monitoring systems, enforcing access controls, and aligning with NIST 800-171/CMMC practices.

Remote work is allowed with proximity to Malden, MA and South Windsor, CT; some onsite presence may be required within a 2-hour commute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years administering Windows Server/Active Directory, group policy, DNS/DHCP, and enterprise endpoint/security tooling.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identity & Access: Administer Active Directory, enforce least privilege and MFA, maintain privileged user standards and audit remediation.
• Server Lifecycle: Build and harden Windows servers, install/manage agents, configure logging/monitoring, patch compliance, remediation.
• Endpoint & Platform Operations: Support workstation configuration standards, application deployment, and endpoint protection.
• Network & Perimeter Support: Assist with Cisco/Unifi switching and firewall administration, VPN policies and access.
• Virtualization: Support VMware vSphere (ESXi/vCenter) provisioning and baselines.
• Backup/DR: Coordinate Druva backups and DR tasks, verify backups/restores.
• Compliance & Policy Alignment: Implement IT Security and policy baselines across systems.
• Change Management & Documentation: Follow ServiceNow change control; maintain runbooks and knowledge base.
