Job summary

SRI Resources has an immediate long term contract opportunity for an Intermediate Level Systems Administrator in Orlando, FL. The role is fully remote, with the candidate in the USA preferred to be in FL.

The ideal candidate will coordinate day-to-day server administration, troubleshoot enterprise-class systems, and maintain documentation. Requires multiple certifications and 3+ years of IT experience in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator is required.
• RHCSA certification is required.
• CompTIA Network+ certification is required.
• Nutanix Certified Professional – Multi-cloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI) required.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals beneficial.
• 3+ years of IT experience maintaining enterprise-class systems.

Responsibilities

• Administer server systems to ensure continued operations and performance.
• Investigate warnings and errors, craft action plans, and document solutions.
• Coordinate support with vendors and on-site personnel.
• Provide bi-weekly project status updates and progress reporting.
• Mentor and train technicians, promoting knowledge sharing.
• Document new processes and update existing documentation.
• Plan and implement projects based on customer requirements and vendor recommendations.
