Job Title: System21 Consulting Analyst/Developer

Type: Full-Time or Part-Time

Location: Remote

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated System21 Consulting Analyst/Developer to join our remote team. This position is responsible for supporting and enhancing the Infor System21 ERP system for multiple clients. You will work directly with end users and IT teams to resolve application issues, develop custom functionality, and ensure seamless business operations across finance, distribution, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1–3 support for the Infor System21 ERP system in a multi-client environment.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot functional and technical issues across various System21 modules.
  • Design, develop, and modify RPG, RPGLE, and CL programs to meet evolving business needs.
  • Manage and prioritize service desk tickets across multiple customers with varying priorities.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of issues, changes, and development work.
  • Collaborate with customer teams, IT staff, and third-party vendors to deliver solutions.
  • Participate in regular check-ins, planning sessions, and potential after-hours support rotation.
  • 75% Consulting Support and 25% Project Work (Subject to change)

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years supporting or developing in Infor System21 on IBM i (AS/400).
  • Proficient in RPG, RPGLE, CL, and DDS programming.
  • Deep understanding of System21 business modules such as Finance, Inventory, Sales Orders, Purchasing, and Manufacturing.
  • Comfortable working with IBM i commands, job monitoring, and spool file management.
  • Familiarity with development tools like SEU and PDM.
  • Experience in a help desk or customer-facing support role, preferably with ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of SQL on IBM i.
  • Integration experience using APIs or data transfer tools is a plus.
  • EDI Knowledge is a plus.
  • Exposure to ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Samanage, Zoho, etc.).

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and shift priorities effectively.
  • High attention to detail with a customer-service mindset.
  • 100% remote, with regular virtual meetings or collaboration sessions.
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet and a quiet home office setup.
  • U.S. citizens or authorized to work in the U.S..
  • Core work hours aligned to Eastern or Central Time.
