Job summary

SME Careers is seeking a remote, hourly Swift Engineer to review AI-generated responses and develop high-quality Swift and iOS-focused content. You will assess reasoning quality, explain solutions, and rate AI outputs for accuracy and clarity.

Requirements include 2+ years of hands-on Swift/iOS development, strong Swift fundamentals, and production experience. A Bachelor’s degree in CS is required; English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on Swift/iOS development experience.
• Strong understanding of core Swift fundamentals, memory management, and ARC.
• Professional iOS engineering experience shipping or maintaining production mobile applications.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
• Ability to evaluate code for correctness, maintainability, performance, and UI logic quality.
• Significant experience using large language models (LLMs) to assist with coding, debugging, and code review.
• Excellent English writing skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
• Highly preferred: Experience with SwiftUI, UIKit, and Combine in modern iOS architectures such as MVVM.
• Preferred: Merged pull requests in Swift/iOS open-source projects, competitive programming exposure, or similar evidence of strong algorithmic problem-solving skills.
