Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Procurement Specialist (Level 1 or 2) to support a team remotely from Melbourne, FL. Responsibilities include sourcing, RFQ/RFP initiation, and supplier performance management, with emphasis on cost reduction and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, Excel/reporting skills, and the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, and/or supplier management.
• Experience with Excel and reporting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret level clearance after starting.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure goods and services from multiple suppliers.
• Initiate RFQs/RFPs and analyze proposed pricing from suppliers.
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery reliability with internal customers.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities and negotiate to manage risk.
• Issue and manage purchase orders and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide documentation to logistics/warehouse teams and approve supplier payments.
