Job summary

Advocate Health is offering a Supply Chain Management Intern position for the 2027 summer term. The role provides hands-on experience in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and data analysis while working with experienced professionals to optimize processes and ensure smooth flow of goods and services.

Eligible students are currently pursuing a degree in SCM, Business, or related fields, with junior or senior status and a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field.
• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university.
• GPA of at least 2.5.

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking shipments and managing logistics documentation.
• Support inventory analysis and forecasting activities.
• Help evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor records.
• Participate in procurement processes and purchase order management.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and customer service.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects.
