Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a student intern for the Supply Chain Center. This internship is fully remote, part-time, lasting up to 12 months and begins in May 2027.

The role supports a department by performing assigned tasks or assisting with projects to help the intern gain an understanding of the business function. The program offers exposure to non-clinical operations within a healthcare setting, with opportunities to attend team meetings, shadow various roles, and contribute to project

Qualifications

• Student in business fields (Operations & Supply Chain, Finance, Communications, Marketing, HR, etc.) in their third or fourth year.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and e-mail scheduling applications.
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a variety of projects to support department needs and identify solutions.
• Attends team/department meetings and shares knowledge pertinent to the meeting.
• Gains knowledge of department functions and may shadow roles within the department.
• Works with team members to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Project Assistance: May be assigned specific projects and work independently or in a team to meet timelines.
• Miscellaneous: Provides staff operational/clerical support as needed.
