Job summary

Intermountain Health is offering a fully remote, part-time internship in the Supply Chain Center, starting May 2027. This position supports a department by performing tasks and assisting with projects to gain an understanding of the business function.

The internship scope includes working on projects, attending meetings, shadowing roles, and providing project support, lasting less than 12 months with no traditional benefits.

Qualifications

• Student in business fields (Operations & Supply Chain, Finance, Communications, Marketing, HR, legal, etc.), who is in their third or fourth year of an undergraduate program.
• Education is verified.
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail and scheduling applications.
• Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participates in a variety of projects that support department needs and works with the team to identify solutions and complete tasks.
• Attends team/department meetings and shares knowledge and skills relevant to meetings.
• Gains knowledge of department functions and may shadow roles to understand their contribution.
• Works with team members to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Project assistance: may be assigned specific projects and works independently or with the team to meet timelines.
