Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Management Intern in Charlotte, NC. The internship runs May 31, 2027 through August 6, 2027, with up to 40 hours per week during Mon-Fri business hours.

This is a remote, work-from-home internship available to residents in NC and other approved states. The role offers hands-on experience in logistics, procurement, inventory management, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field
• Currently enrolled as a junior or senior at an accredited college or university
• GPA of at least 2.5 required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills expected
• Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools required

Responsibilities

• Assist in tracking shipments and managing logistics documentation
• Support inventory analysis and forecasting activities
• Help evaluate supplier performance and maintain vendor records
• Participate in procurement processes and purchase order management
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, finance, and customer service
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and special projects
