Job summary

The position supports the supply chain with administrative duties and supplier communications. Preferred candidates will have strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills, plus experience with MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6+ years of relevant experience, or 2-year degree with 2+ years.
• Experience expediting orders and coordinating with suppliers and buyers.

Responsibilities

• Expedite open orders with suppliers and buyers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain delivery dates in the system and communicate with suppliers.
• Co-ordinate part requirements between internal groups (Program Management, Finance, Engineering, Planning).
• Resolve invoice issues to ensure on-time payments to suppliers.
• Maintain files and records of invoices and purchase orders.
• Assist in expediting orders and preparing RFQs and purchase requisitions.
• Travel up to 10% may be required; ability to obtain US security clearance.
