Think Tank, Inc. is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Analyst to support NMFS at NOAA. You will map global seafood supply chains and assess regulatory frameworks to detect risks of IUU fishing, misrepresentation, and forced labor.

The role involves collaborating with NMFS/IATC staff, developing templates and visual reports, and analyzing trade flows to understand competition between re-imports and foreign seafood products. Remote position available for U.S. citizens.

Qualifications

• Background in natural resource management, preferably fisheries.
• Experience with databases and data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in one or more non-English languages is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze SIMP harvest and landing data to map global seafood supply chains and identify risks of IUU fishing, misrepresentation, and forced labor.
• Research fisheries regulations and harvesting practices; build a repository of source nation laws and species.
• Assess supply chain vulnerabilities, prioritize high‑risk fisheries, and analyze U.S. seafood re‑imports for processing and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with NMFS/IATC staff and software technicians for data access and project alignment.
• Develop structured templates and visual reports for both internal and public use.
• Identify trade flow patterns, impacts of regulations, and competition between re‑imports and foreign seafood products.
