Job summary

B&G Foods is seeking a seasoned Supplier Quality Manager to lead supplier quality, food safety and risk management across ingredients for spices, seasonings, herbs, dehydrated ingredients, and flavor systems. You will drive supplier approval, audit programs, CAPA actions, and cross-functional collaboration with Procurement, R&D and Regulatory teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of food manufacturing experience with 5 years in supplier quality, food safety or supply chain.
• Experience auditing food manufacturing facilities.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier qualification, approval and requalification programs for ingredients (spices, seasonings, herbs, dehydrated ingredients, flavors).
• Evaluate supplier food safety systems, quality management and regulatory compliance.
• Perform risk-based supplier assessments and assign risk ratings.
• Review supplier documentation and onboard new suppliers/ingredients in TraceGains.
• Conduct supplier audits at domestic and international facilities and drive CAPAs.
• Collaborate with Procurement to address supplier performance concerns and risk mitigation.
• Develop supplier scorecards and monitor KPI trends for continuous improvement.
