Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a senior supplier performance professional to perform capability assessments and drive continuous improvement with suppliers across the NY/NJ/PA region.

Travel up to 80% within the region is required. You will lead diagnoses on the shop floor, develop gap-closure plans, and conduct on-site training while coordinating with Pratt & Whitney teams to ensure measurable benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, or related field with 8 years’ experience in Operations, Quality, or CI roles, or an advanced degree with 5 years’ experience.
• U.S. citizenship; must reside in NY, NJ, or PA area.
• Experience with structured project management and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to initiate, lead, and sustain change activities at suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments of supplier capability via the Supplier Health Assessment (SHA).
• Engage suppliers to diagnose issues and develop a gap‑closure plan.
• Conduct weekly on-site training and coaching at the supplier.
• Coordinate with Pratt & Whitney and supplier teams to validate gap plans and monitor benefits.
• Establish leading indicators and track weekly, on-site at the supplier.
• Intervene to expedite deliveries or resolve quality issues as needed.
• Lead impactful Continuous Improvement events at the supplier.
