Thriveworks is seeking a Supervising Psychiatrist to join our team in Tennessee. The role involves remote clinical supervision of Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, with quarterly QA and timely guidance during business hours.

Applicants must hold an active TN license (DEA preferred) and have 3+ years of practice plus at least 2 years supervising residents or mid-levels. Travel to Thriveworks Tennessee locations twice yearly is required.

Qualifications

• MD/DO in Psychiatry.
• Active and Unrestricted Licenses in TN (prefer TN residents).
• 3+ years of practice experience (or 1+ year if board-certified or hospital-based).
• Minimum of 2 years experience supervising residents or mid-levels.
• Must be willing to take a minimum of 4 NP’s.
• Compact license or multi-state licensing acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote clinical supervision to employed Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.
• Conduct quarterly QA with each NP.
• Respond to questions via text/email during business hours (M-F).
• Review charts/progress notes as required by state laws and governing bodies.
• Complete monthly supervision documentation for each NP.
• Stay updated on company policies and program guidelines.
• Complete annual HR-required training.
