Job summary

Ascend Healthcare is seeking a Virtual Supervising Psychiatrist to provide supervisory oversight to Advanced Practice Providers in an outpatient clinic setting for Ascends service lines and any additional service lines as determined.

Remote-first environment with monthly team meetings; board-certified, Nevada-licensed psychiatrists who can supervise remotely are preferred. Prior general psychiatry experience is a plus, and in-person attendance may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Nevada MD or DO license in good standing.
• Must be board-certified in Psychiatry.
• Ability to provide supervision remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory oversight for nurse practitioners and physician assistants, ensuring quality of care and adherence to protocols and state regulations for children, adolescents, and adults.
• Available for case reviews as necessary.
• Available to meet with the team once per month.
