We are an immigration law firm committed to delivering compassionate, strategic, and high-quality legal representation. Our team is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complex U.S. immigration system with a focus on family-based immigration, U.S. citizenship, and humanitarian relief.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Supervising Attorney to oversee the affirmative immigration section of our firm. This role is fully remote and involves managing the legal processing and review of family petitions, naturalization applications, humanitarian visa filings (including VAWA, U visa, and asylum), and consular processing. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fully remote environment with a remote team of case managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal supervision and quality control for family-based petitions, naturalization, humanitarian visa applications, and consular processing.
  • Review and authorize filings prepared by case managers for legal accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with current immigration laws, procedures, and firm protocols.
  • Serve as the primary legal point of contact for the affirmative immigration team.
  • Collaborate with and provide guidance to remote case managers.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and communicate effectively through remote tools.
  • Support the professional development of case managers by providing feedback and training as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. immigration law, particularly affirmative immigration processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote workload effectively.
  • Experience in case management systems and supervising legal support staff is a plus.
  • Recent law school graduates and newly barred attorneys are welcome to apply.

Preferred Experience (Not Required):

  • Prior work in an immigration law firm or nonprofit.
  • Experience with humanitarian-based immigration relief.
  • Familiarity with consular processing procedures.

Compensation:

Commensurate with experience, with opportunities for professional growth. Health insurance, dental, and vision offered after 90 days.
