Job summary

DIRECTV is offering a Summer Intern position within its People & Transformation team. You will support employee experience initiatives, engage in case management, analysis and reporting, or end-to-end project management, and contribute to improving engagement and business continuity.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and the use of AI tools, with a 10-week remote schedule and compensation of $20–$28 per hour, depending on undergraduate or graduate status.

Qualifications

• Open to all undergraduates and master’s candidates; emphasis in Organization Management, Human Resources, Project Management, Analytics, Legal Studies, Public Policy, Risk Management, Consulting or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications
• Experience with data visualization or reporting tools
• Ability to support projects by maintaining trackers and coordinating follow-up in a collaborative environment
• Ability to research unfamiliar topics, evaluate information from multiple sources, identify gaps or trends, and summarize findings
• Comfort working with data and artificial intelligence tools, including checking quality, preparing basic analyses, and developing reports.
• Professional communication skills and the confidence to ask thoughtful questions, seek clarification, and share well-supported recommendations.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments with guidance.
• Curiosity, adaptability, accountability, and a willingness to learn.
• A proactive, dependable approach and a commitment to completing high-quality work.
• Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential, sensitive, or potentially privileged information.
