Job summary

Affect is seeking Telehealth Substance Use Disorder Counselors to deliver virtual individual and group counseling across the United States, with licensure in Iowa and other states as applicable. This full-time remote role emphasizes evidence-based practice and coordinated medical care to support recovery.

Responsibilities include intake assessments, counseling sessions, crisis support, and accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Active and verifiable licensure in Iowa (LISW, LMFT, LMHC, CADC, or IADC) or equivalent.
• Credential verification through State Board website as part of the application.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments to evaluate Member readiness and determine level of care.
• Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions using evidence-based curriculum.
• Provide crisis support and coordinate referrals as needed.
• Maintain timely documentation in EMR system.
• Collaborate with clinical supervisors on treatment and discharge planning.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to state regulations.
