Qualifications

• 2+ years in substation design, construction, or maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, NESC).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design and test electrical substations to meet safety and operational standards.
• Prepare engineering drawings and schematics using AutoCAD or Bluebeam.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for approvals and permits.

Skills

Substation design experience

Power systems understanding

Engineering software proficiency (ETAP, SKM, PSS/E)

Protection relay programming

Communication and interpersonal skills

Detail orientation and problem solving

Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
