Job summary

Groups Recover Together is seeking a Substance Use Counselor to join our remote team serving Maine. You will lead group therapy sessions, document clinical progress, and provide one-on-one counseling as needed, all within a member-centered care model.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in a related field and a Maine license (LADC, CADC, LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, or LCISW). Expect collaboration with partners and ongoing training in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or graduate degree in mental health, social work, psychology, addictions or related field.
• Ability to work 2 evenings per week up to 8:30pm as needed.
• 2+ years of experience leading group therapy in a SUD setting.
• Strong comfort with EMR, Telehealth software, Google products and mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Facilitating group therapy sessions for clients.
• Providing feedback and maintaining clinical progress notes.
• Counseling one-on-one with clients when needed.
• Collaborating with community partners on case management and care coordination.
• Maintaining compliance with licensing and billing requirements.
• Participating in training and supervision.
