Job summary

NUS Charity invites current students to join its Communications team as a six-month Student Content Creators Pilot. You will create short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels, contribute to content planning, spot trends for student audiences, and may capture content at events. All content goes through editorial approval and you will work to briefs and deadlines.

Hours are 4 per week. Contract is fixed-term for six months with a salary of £30,790 FTE, pro rata to hours worked.

Qualifications

• Current student status required.
• Ability to meet deadlines and briefs.
• Editor-approved content process with feedback loop.

Responsibilities

• Create short-form video for TikTok and Instagram Reels.
• Contribute to content planning and idea generation sessions.
• Spot emerging trends for student audiences and adapt them.
• Capture content at NUS events when possible.
• Support campaigns, student stories, and partnerships under editorial guidance.
