Qualifications

• JD degree with active admission to practice in at least one jurisdiction.
• 5+ years advising on structured finance transactions.
• Thorough knowledge of securities law and regulatory frameworks.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication with precision in legal language.
• Experience reviewing prospectuses, term sheets, and offering memoranda.
• Proven ability to break down complex legal concepts for varied audiences or tech applications.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and annotate structured finance contracts and documents related to assets such as ABS, MBS, and CDOs.
• Draft or evaluate sample documents, clauses, and legal frameworks for structured finance.
• Provide detailed feedback on hypothetical scenarios or AI-generated content for legal sufficiency and clarity.
• Identify and explain industry terminology, regulatory requirements, and common structures in structured finance.
• Contribute to training datasets reflecting current legal standards and best practices.
• Collaborate asynchronously with platform coordinators and subject matter professionals to ensure high standards.
• Deliver insights on evolving market practices, pitfalls, and regulatory developments.
