STSI (Staffing Technical Services Inc.) is seeking a Structural Engineering Professional to join our remote team, where you will be essential in structural analysis and design for various projects. The role involves working closely with engineers and designers, developing design concepts, and ensuring structural requirements are met in engineering documents.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, possess a Professional Engineer License, and have at least 10 years of structural engineering experience. We offer a pay range of $68.00 to $78.00 per hour with standard benefits, including medical and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Proficient with designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct work requiring judgment in engineering techniques.
• Exercise sound engineering judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Perform calculation checking of other engineers' work.
• Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship.

Skills

Lateral analysis and design (wind and seismic)

Proficient with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)

Excellent communication skills

Education
