Job summary

The Obama Foundation is seeking an Analyst, Strategy and Operations, to support the Global Leadership and OPC Programs. You will coordinate leadership calendars, travel, expenses, and meetings, and assist in budgeting, tracking, and SOP development.

This role offers exposure to large-scale program delivery, cross-functional collaboration, and operational planning in a mission-driven environment based in Chicago. A strong emphasis on data, process improvement, and vendor management is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional experience in operations, project coordination, or admin support in nonprofits or mission-driven orgs.
• Ability to manage complex calendars for senior leaders and coordinate logistics effectively.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with budgeting, expense tracking, and financial process basics.
• Experience with PM platforms (Asana, Monday.com, Notion) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate leadership calendars, travel, expenses, documents, and meeting logistics.
• Support trackers, dashboards, and reporting to inform planning and decisions.
• Assist budget planning, tracking, and monthly variances, and SOP creation.
• Onboard and coordinate third-party vendors; manage event logistics and communications.
