Job summary

Amgen, a leader in biotech, is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager for Marketing (Content Production & Media) to drive category strategy, supplier partnerships, and end-to-end content supply chain improvements.

You will lead sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with Global Marketing, Legal, and Procurement teams. This role supports enterprise standards and local market needs in a remote U.S. setting.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage strategic partnerships across Global Marketing, Media, Commercial, Legal, Regulatory, and Procurement teams.
• Deliver value through cost optimization, supplier innovation, improved speed-to-market, and scalable content production capabilities.
• Lead sourcing events, supplier negotiations, and contract development for content production, media strategy, paid media, media planning and buying, and content operations.
• Partner with stakeholders to optimize the end-to-end content supply chain, including modular content, digital asset management, AI-enabled content creation, and content reuse strategies.
• Help ensure supplier compliance with quality, regulatory, legal, privacy, and media governance requirements while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
