Job summary
GenScript Biotech Corp. in Piscataway, NJ seeks a Strategic Product Manager for the Biotech Reagents portfolio. You will define product strategy for the next 3–5 years, identify unmet customer needs, and translate scientific insights into business opportunities.
This remote role requires collaboration with R&D, Marketing, and Commercial leadership, with travel to NJ as needed. The ideal candidate has a strong scientific background and experience in product management or strategy within life
Qualifications
- PhD preferred in biology-related field or equivalent with strong scientific depth.
- Experience in product strategy, portfolio planning, or related roles in biotech/life sciences.
- Ability to translate scientific insights into business opportunities and product opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Portfolio strategy across antibodies, recombinant proteins, enzymes, bioassays and related reagents.
- Identify white spaces and develop strategic roadmaps aligned with growth objectives.
- Transform scientific insights into commercial opportunities with VOC/JTBD analyses.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with R&D, Marketing, BD, Commercial, Manufacturing and QA/RA.
- Develop data-driven recommendations and business cases for executive decisions.
