Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Sr. Commodity Manager to shape supplier strategy across IT, professional services, and outsourced services in a global network.

You will collaborate with Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, Legal and Service Operations to optimize supplier performance and drive value across partnerships. You will lead negotiations, develop commodity strategies, and monitor supplier performance to deliver measurable improvements in cost, quality, and service while thriving in a matrixed

Qualifications

• 7+ years supply chain experience in indirect sourcing at a senior level.
• Knowledge of 3rd party consulting services management, contract negotiations and compliance.
• Ability to drive change via collaboration across organizational levels, regional and global geographies and business entities.
• Understanding of software, hardware and consulting trends, with knowledge of domestic and international suppliers.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• ERP/MRP knowledge, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Lead Supplier Strategy & Relationships for indirect suppliers, consultants, and service providers, managing end-to-end relationships.
• Develop global commodity strategies aligned with business objectives via cross-functional insights.
• Drive continuous improvement across quality, cost, delivery, inventory, and service performance.
• Negotiate and manage contracts across IT, professional services, and outsourced services.
• Source and qualify suppliers and build a robust supply base to meet evolving business needs.
• Monitor performance with scorecards and Quarterly Business Reviews.
• Partner across Service Operations, Manufacturing, Legal and other teams for alignment.
• Support service and inventory planning in supplier agreements.
• Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and end-of-life planning for commodities.
• Provide direct production support across mechanical, system, and electro-mechanical commodities.
