Job summary

Kinder’s is seeking a Business Development Manager for Albertsons Safeway to drive profitable growth across Kinder’s national organization, divisions, and banners. You will manage day-to-day customer relationships, develop growth plans, and deliver best-in-class execution across brick-and-mortar, eCommerce, loyalty, and retail media platforms.

This remote role in the western US requires travel ~25% and offers a starting salary range of $135,000–$155,000 per year.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of CPG sales, customer management experience.
• Direct experience supporting Albertsons / Safeway mandatory.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen, including forecasting and planning.
• Ability to navigate a matrixed organization and influence stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Albertsons’ national merchandising teams and division leaders.
• Develop and execute annual customer plans and Joint Business Plans aligned with Kinder’s priorities.
• Translate national strategies into division- and banner-level plans reflecting regional needs.
• Lead item-authorization and assortment optimization with cross-functional teams.
• Forecasting, trade investment, and promotional planning in partnership with Sales Planning and Supply Chain teams.
• Partner with replenishment and supply chain to support service levels and address risks.
