ManpowerGroup is seeking a Storage & Backup Engineer for a 18-month remote contract in the United States. The role focuses on administering backup platforms (Commvault/Cohesity), VMware vSphere/ESXi, and infrastructure automation with Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.

The ideal candidate will troubleshoot incidents, support high-availability environments, and participate in on-call rotations, with strong communication and independent work capability.

Formación

• Hands-on experience with Commvault and Cohesity.
• Experience supporting VMware vSphere/ESXi environments.
• Automation using Ansible.
• PowerShell and/or Python scripting.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience working within change management processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of technical issues.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Administer and support Commvault and Cohesity backup environments.
• Support VMware vSphere and ESXi infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot incidents, perform root cause analysis, and drive issue resolution.
• Implement upgrades, patches, and infrastructure changes.
• Develop automation solutions using Ansible, PowerShell, and/or Python.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability.
• Utilize ServiceNow for incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including occasional after-hours and weekend support.
