Job summary

Allied Benefit Systems, LLC in Chicago, IL seeks a Supervisor, Stop Loss to assist the Manager with overseeing the department, auditing stop loss filings, reimbursements, and related cash advance claims. Collaboration with the Stop Loss Data Specialist and Reimbursement Specialist is expected for administrative and auditing tasks.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 5+ years in group health insurance/benefits, and 2+ years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years group health insurance/benefits experience.
• At least 2 years supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook; quick learner of new apps.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly audits of specific claims and ensure reimbursements are received.
• Manage stop loss tracking logs and monitor member deductibles.
• Record stop loss reimbursements accurately and timely.
• Prepare data for Rx stop loss claims filing.
• File aggregate claims and secure reimbursements.
• Assist with claim adjustments and client enrollment into ACH program.
• Lead, coach, and conduct performance discussions and growth planning.
• Communicate expectations and provide training/resources for success.
